“L’Encre d’Érable” saw the day on June 1st 2018. Situated in the heart of the town of Nyon, rue du Collège, you will be warmly welcomed in a relaxed atmosphere.
My favourite styles are colour and illustrative, with Japanese and american traditional heading the way. Being old school trained, I try to be as versatile as possible offering you most styles from today and yesterday (lettering, tribal, black and gray, realism, biomech, ...) and all sizes and spots. A pretty full library is also available.
Don’t hesitate to call us or pop by.
Born in Paris in 1971, I’ve always had an affinity for art and drawing. Already as a toddler I had fun redoing the wallpaper with markers.
Pushed by a few friends, I start art studies. After a few years loitering in art schools and “spiritual research”, I find my path after being tattooed by my master, Jay “Addictive” Wojceik. After bugging him for two years, I finally start my apprenticeship in February 2001 at “Addictive Tattoo” in London, Ontario, Canada, where I worked until 2013.
After my master’s passing in 2012 (RIP) and 19 years spent in Canada, coming home to Switzerland was in the books. June 2013, I start working in Morges at “Physical Design”, an old friend’s, Yves Guisolan, tattoo studio.
Finally in 2018, I decide to be on my own. Having always wanted to combine my love of both countries, I open “L’Encre d’Érable” on June 1st.
The rest is history.
